Welcome to St Clements Golf & Sports Centre

The most southerly golf course in the British Isles

The Jersey Recreation Grounds Company Limited was founded on 27th December 1913 by a group of businessmen, it being their forethought in providing recreation to all the people of Jersey that has lead to the sports facilities that we have today.

Previously known by locals as The Recreation Grounds, St Clements Golf and Sports Centre has undergone extensive refurbishment in recent years.

In 2013 the company celebrated its centenary.

Being the most southerly golf course in the British Isles it now boasts a testing nine-hole par 33 parkland course, measuring 2,637 yards, a three-hole Academy golf course suitable for all ages and abilities, a practice area including sand bunkers and putting green. The golf course is adjacent to the Longueville Golf Range.

For tennis players, there are 12 outdoor courts which have recently been upgraded.

The latest addition to the Sports Centre is the introduction of 'Padel Tennis'. With two new courts being build in late 2015, this new sport is both great fun and ideal for families.

PGA golf and LTA tennis professionals are on hand should you require some extra tuition during your visit.

Located centrally within the sports centre is the fully licensed ‘Partners Restaurant’ and bar which has an al fresco area overlooking both the tennis courts and golf course. It’s open from 8 am till late seven days a week.

St Clements Golf and Sports Centre now ranks as one of the leading sports facilities in Jersey, and it is open from sunrise to sunset 7 days a week.

Its location just outside St Helier makes it very convenient for everyone and it’s easily accessible by bus.

Golf and tennis equipment is available to Hire. Booking is not required but it is advisable to avoid disappointment.

It is a family-friendly place, open to everyone, and continues to operate with the same spirit and intentions that its founders had 100 years ago. You will always be made to feel welcome.

Thank you for visiting this site and we look forward to welcoming you
